Pulicha/ Gongura/ Amarnath keerai :

Pulicha Keerai Recipe....

Ingredients :


  1. Pulicha keerai/ Gongura leaves - 1 bunch
  2. Vadagam                               - 2 pcs
  3. Red chilli                              - 15 - 20 pcs
  4. Oil                                        - 5 - 7 tsp
  5. Salt to taste

Method :
Bunch of Pulicha Keerai

For Tempering

Remove the gongura leaves from stem and wash the leaves twice pr thrice thoroughly. heat 1 glass water in kadai add the leaves lets boil for 5 to 10 min 

Remove the water from leave , and add some salt

Smash it well

Smash Like this

Heat oil in pan , add vadagam fry it for 1 to 2 mins

Add Red chilies

Saute it for 1min

Mix it

Serve it with hot rice

  1. Gongura Pickle / Ambade ka achar is one of my favorite pickles. Especially the pickle made in Andhra style has an everlasting taste. Thank you for showing the delicious recipe. I will definitely try this weekend.
